LEGAL
Terms of Service
Effective 3 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Anvesham (the “Service”), operated by Partha Borthakur (sole proprietor), trading as Anvesham, Christian Basti, Dispur, Guwahati - 781005, Assam, India (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
1. What the Service is
Anvesham is a founder-intelligence tool. It collects publicly available information about companies, products, markets and customer discussions; computes scores from that information; and generates analyses, opportunity assessments and answers to your questions. It is decision support, not advice.
2. Nothing here is professional advice
Outputs — including opportunity scores, “Bharat Gap” assessments, build theses, idea verdicts, competitor reads, funding figures and IP posture notes — are automated and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. They are not investment, legal, financial, tax or intellectual-property advice, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship is created. Verify anything you intend to act on independently. Every analysis shows its own confidence and caveats; treat them as part of the output.
3. Accounts and trial
- You get a free trial of 7 days from signup. After it ends, continued access requires a paid plan.
- You must provide accurate account details and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One person per account. Team and portfolio plans, where offered, are governed by their own terms.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, attempt to scrape or bulk-export it beyond the features provided, reverse-engineer it, or use it unlawfully.
4. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Founder plans are ₹999 per month or ₹9,999 per year, inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. Prices may change with notice; changes apply from your next purchase.
- Payments are processed by PayU. We do not store card, UPI or bank details.
- Plans are prepaid for a fixed period and do not auto-renew unless you have enabled recurring billing where offered.
- You can stop using the Service at any time. Refunds are governed by our Refunds & Cancellation policy.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service to harass, defame or unlawfully surveil any person or company.
- Do not use automated tools to extract data beyond the export features we provide, or resell or redistribute the Service's data or outputs as a competing product.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or content that is unlawful or infringing.
- Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, spend caps, or access controls.
6. Your content and our content
You own what you enter — companies you track, questions you ask, ideas you evaluate. You grant us a licence to process it to provide the Service, including sending it to AI-model and infrastructure providers acting on our behalf. We own the Service, its scores, models, vocabulary, software and aggregated datasets. Public information we collect remains the property of its respective owners and is used under fair-use and public-availability principles; we link to sources wherever we can.
7. Third-party information and links
The Service aggregates third-party sources (press, forums, directories, code repositories). We do not control them and are not responsible for their accuracy. Links are provided for verification; visiting them is subject to those sites’ own terms.
8. Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. Data sources can fail, analyses can be temporarily unavailable when usage caps are reached, and we may change or discontinue features. Our status page shows current service health.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and we disclaim all warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss, or for any loss of profit, business, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the Service.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the Service or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you hold.
13. Grievance officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020: Partha Borthakur, Grievance Officer, pbdomains01@gmail.com. Grievances are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 30 days.
